Customizable Marlene pants

The Marlene trousers are a true classic, which iowes her name to Marlene Dietrich. She brought these wide, straight-legged suit trousers to the screen in the 1930s. Marlene pants are often sewn from softly draping wool fabrics, but of course you can also use other fabrics. Whether as classic business suit trousers or a sporty, casual version – depending on the choice of design and fabric, the Marlene still fulfills every wish for timeless trousers even after almost 100 years.

In our configurator , you have the opportunity to design your own individual sewing pattern according to your measurements and ideas. You have a large selection of different fits, pocket and hem variations as well as classic elements such as waistband and creases, turn-ups, etc.

The pattern pieces already contain all seam allowances. The finished seam lines are marked in the pattern pieces. This way you can easily see how wide the seam allowances and hem turn-ins are intended to be.

In the instructions supplied, you will find links to the corresponding sewing instructions for the individual steps. We make these available to you online in image/text and video form. If you like, you can take a look at the instructions here.

The instructions also contain layout plans for cutting and information on materials and consumption.

We usually need 0.5-10 hours to generate your individual sewing pattern. We will then send you your sewing pattern e-book by e-mail.

This contains the following files:

  1. A4 PDF pattern file
  2. A0 PDF pattern file (the width of the pattern is A0 format, but can be longer – depending on how much space the pattern pieces require).
  3. PDF instructions for the sewing pattern

You will receive the sewing pattern in two formats and can decide for yourself whether you want to print out the A4 file at home, glue it together and get started straight away. If you don’t feel like gluing, you can give the A0 file to a copy store or online print shop and have a large pattern sheet made for you. Please note the additional printing and shipping costs of the respective provider.

You can open the PDF files with the free Adobe Reader.

After the payment process, your individual sewing pattern will be sent to you by e-mail. We usually need 0.5-10 hours to generate your sewing pattern.

We provide you with the sewing pattern file in two formats. You can decide for yourself which one to use, as both contain the same sewing pattern.

The A4 file consists of several pages that you can print out and stick together yourself. Here you will find detailed instructions on how best to proceed and what you should bear in mind: Instructions for sewing pattern preparation

The A0 file (A0 in width, the length varies individually) is a page in large format, which you can pass on to an online print shop and have a large pattern sheet sent to you. Please note the additional printing and shipping costs of the respective provider. Perhaps you have a copy store near you that will print out the file for you.
